Zootechnic platform

The Animal Science Department of the Illkirch Faculty of Pharmacy is a platform for accommodation and functional exploration. This service is attached to UMR 7021.

It provides a structure approved by the Bas-Rhin Departmental Directorate for the Protection of Populations to the regional and national scientific community. It offers its services to users of the University of Strasbourg and to private companies.

Animal care, health surveillance, technical assistance to researchers and staff training are its main missions.

• A conventional protected area (ventilated racks) aimed at maintaining sanitary status. It includes a room dedicated to production, an accommodation room and two functional explorations rooms.
• A conventional area comprising two rooms for accommodation and two rooms for functional explorations.
