The JCI 2026, the highlight of the Illkirch campus, brought together young researchers from all disciplines to share their latest findings, foster collaboration, and showcase research in Strasbourg. The LBP played a major role in the event, with an unprecedented level of participation from its teams.
All of the laboratory’s teams were present, with nearly 14 students leading oral presentations and poster sessions, showcasing their innovative research.
The quality of the work presented by the LBP was recognized by the JCI jury :
- Grégory Adam from the Migration, Invasion, and Targeting team received the Best Poster Presentation Award for “High-resolution visualization of the architecture of invadopodes in melanoma” praised for the clarity and impact of his results.
- Maeva Martin from the Biophotonics of Molecular and Cellular Interactions team was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award for “Innovative therapeutic approach based on nucleic acid aptamers for the treatment of sepsis-induced disseminated intravascular coagulation” recognized for her ability to captivate the audience and convey the complexity of her research.
These awards crown the commitment of all LBP participants and attest to the laboratory’s scientific vitality. They also underscore the importance of the JCI as a platform for sharing and recognition within the local scientific community.
