The OnKO • 3T team, led by Sophie Martin,is one of the 54 winners of the National Cancer Institute’s PLBIO 2026 grant!
Through the PITEP project, the team will develop a human preclinical platform combining:
- patient-derived organoids
- tumor-on-chip technologies
to identify promising photosensitizers, develop photoimmunotherapy strategies, overcome treatment resistance, and reduce relapses in patients with head and neck cancers.
A multidisciplinary project involving clinicians, researchers, engineers, students, partners—and, of course, patients!
