Laurence Choulier and the BIMC team join FHU TARGET to combat acute inflammation

The TARGET FHU, headed by Prof. Julie Helms, aims to meet the challenges to face deleterious acute inflammatory states. This ambitious project relies on a multidisciplinary consortium, mobilized to understand and control excessive inflammatory responses, often responsible for tissue damage and organ failure.

Among the experts involved, Laurence Choulier's group in the BIMC team is playing a key role in this project, particularly in targeting sepsis. In partnership with some fifteen other teams of researchers and clinicians, their work will contribute to developing new strategies to better control these inflammatory reactionsThe official launch of FHU TARGET took place at the beginning of February, marking a major scientific advance in the fight against deleterious acute inflammation.
