We are proposing a thesis topic funded within our laboratory, focusing on the implementation of TRAST spectroscopy, an innovative approach for exploring long-lived transient states of fluorophores. This project aims to study the conformational dynamics of nucleic acids using fluorescent guanosine analogues, drawing on cross-disciplinary skills in chemistry, physics and biology.
This work is part of the ITI-QMat network and will benefit from the technological environment of the PIQ-Quest platform.
Profile required: background in spectroscopy, optical instrumentation, data analysis, with an interest in biophysics and precision experimental work.
