On Thursday March 20, 2025, the Alsace final of the 12th edition of the Ma Thèse en 180 secondes (MT180) competition was held on the Esplanade campus, at the University of Strasbourg.
Among the 9 finalists, Ronan BERNEDE, a PhD student in the ONKO3T team, brilliantly represented our unit by presenting his research work in just 180 seconds.
His topic: “Reshaping the immune microenvironment with miR-30-3p to sensitize head and neck squamous cell carcinomas to immunotherapies”.
A challenge met with clarity and pedagogy! Ronan was able to explain how microRNAs could reinforce the efficacy of immunotherapies, by reactivating the immune system in the face of certain cancers that manage to deactivate it.
The whole unit warmly congratulates Ronan on his selection as one of the finalists and his fine performance in the final !
