New publication in JACS Au for Andrey Klymchenko's team !

We are proud to announce the publication of the work of Nathan Aknine, Rémi Pelletier and Andrey Klymchenko from the Photoactive Materials and Bioimaging team, in the prestigious journal JACS Au. This study presents a major breakthrough in cell imaging using a new generation of fluorescent probes : MemGrafts.

A key innovation : MemGraft probes

These innovative probes are distinguished by their ability to graft covalently to membrane proteins after transient reversible binding to the lipid membrane. This unique property guarantees long-lasting, stable labelling and resistance in biological environments and even compatibility with complex treatments such as fixation and permeabilization.

Applications and benefits:

- Long-term cell tracking, even in cell co-culture.

- Multicolor bar coding to differentiate multiple cell populations simultaneously.

- Magnetic cell manipulation.

- Applications in cell surface engineering, video imaging of multicellular systems (2D and 3D), long-term dynamic studies and super-resolution microscopy.
