Congratulations to Elisabete Cruz da Silva, winner of the 'Mature your PhD' prize, organized by the SATT Conectus. After two rounds of selection, Elisabete and three other winners (Benoît Ribon, Farah Bouhedda and Salima El Yakhlifi) were rewarded on the 4th of June 2019 during the 'Generation Startups' event. The idea of 'Mature your PhD' was to capitalize on thesis projects developed by PhD students. Elisabete (co-director: M. Lehmann & L. Choulier) presented a project to vectorize nucleic acid aptamers inside tumor cells
Conceived by the SATT Conectus, the Challenge Mature your PHD offers to 2nd and 3rd year doctoral students enrolled in universities of Alsace to take their future in hand. This challenge aims to maximize the chances of young PhD students entering the job market by opening up a field of opportunities in the private sector.
